Yoga @ Como

FAQs @ End

For those of you who have met me (Sara) through Slow Burn, did you know I've been teaching yoga/meditation/mindfulness in the Twin Cities for over a decade? Actually, that's how Slow Burn started: as part of my mindfulness practice.

While my offerings have evolved over the years, one thing hasn't changed: every summer, I hold space for people to start off their mornings in a mindful way. Hosted under the Como Park Pavilion with a perfect view of the lake, I offer a mash-up format of flow-yin-alignment to an AWESOME community of all-level practitioners.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 8am

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8am, June - August

Where: Como Lakeside Pavilion - 1360 Lexington Pkwy N, St Paul, MN 55103

Cost: Donation Based; pay what you can!

  • I offer a mash-up format of flow-yin-alignment. You can expect a balance approach from me however, I’ll always give you options to intensify or scale back.

  • 7:45am - but give me a little grace if I’m running behind… I have a 2 year old ;)

  • It’s entirely up to you how you’d like to contribute financially. I have a suggested donation of $10/class that helps me cover the costs of the time I put into class planing, continuing education, child care, and marketing. You can donate in-person with cash, Venmo, or PayPal. If the suggested donation amount of $10 doesn’t align with what you feel comfortable paying, please pay what you can.

  • I do not provide props. Please bring with you a yoga mat and any other yoga props (blocks, blanket, strap, etc.) you feel would make your practice more accessible. Remember to wear layers (especially early June) as the early morning classes can be chilly.

  • No. These classes are hosted by me, Sara Wait and are not affiliated with Dock & Paddle or the City of St Paul. Given my busy schedule running Slow Burn and raising a toddler, this is all the availability I have at this time. Also, we are using the space at the Pavilion during a time when it is not open to the public so that we can have the place to ourselves!

  • No; however, I do play singing bowls on occasion. This is usually at the start or end of class.

  • Nope! Come any time!

  • Come and go as you need - please be mindful of the other people in class and enter/exit quietly.
